This school magazine has bold, colourful headings and because this magazine is mainly about singing and performing we see the black background as a stage and the writing as spot lights, which is very effective. I also think that the 'bumper issue' label makes it look more professional, and the colourful writing tells you whats inside the magazine. My only complaint about the front of this magazine is that you do not usually find the email address or bar code on the front, otherwise very good.
This school magazine has a nice picture on the front and tells you what the magazine is about (dancing, music and singing) and it looks professional, but it is not very exciting, and does not encourage you to read it, so to an extent it does not fulfil its purpose.
The front of this magazine is very bold and looks professional because of the colours and layout, the competition to win an MP3 player is a great idea as it encourages you to read it and find out more.I like the small, but bold 75p in the corner of the magazine because it gives you information without overtaking the picture. i love the way the colourful picture of the girl is in front of the grey shadowy version, overall a very good and professional front for a magazine.
The front of this school magazine is very bold and colourful, and lets you know exactly what the magazine is about (art and literacy). There are lots pictures demonstrating art and literacy, they are interesting but at the same time there is no focal point and when there are too many pictures it can seem a little bit intrusive. But overall a very good magazine cover.
