Contents Page
I am really pleased with my contents page and I think I have obeyed the rule of thirds because the writing takes up about 1/3 of the page and the pictures take up the rest. The pictures worked out better than I thought they would and some I didn't even need to Photoshop like the ones of Sam and Charlotte who are in front of the brick wall.

Information about Photos
Since my last media lesson I've taken photos of Alex at my tennis club, and Joe and Tendie at my drama club. There's only a few really good photos that I'd use in my magazine, but I can't think what to write about in my school magazine. I mean obviously I'm promoting the school but I don't know where to start so I'm going to look at some examples of school magazines to try and get inspired. I think I'll write about a production my school will be performing for charity, or how certain students are running for charity. Just things that inform students, parents and the schools contacts what is happening while at the same time promoting the school.

My School Magazine for AS Media
Hi, since my last blog entry I have experimented with photography and lighting and I have decided what type of school I will write about and research for my school magazine, and below is a rough plan of my school.
Name of School = Stage and Sports School (SASS)
Location = London
Type of School = A mixed stage and sporting school
Ethos of the School = To give post 18 students a free education in sports and/or performing arts, and to give them every possible opportunity to improve and help them start their future career.
School Motto = Life’s only as good as you make it, so prepare for it.
History of the School = SASS was founded in the 1930’s by the sports fanatic and actress ‘Miss Ruby Lilac’ who wanted to give the younger generation all the opportunities and help that she didn’t have. This school is one of the leading sports and performing arts school in the south east of England. It is dedicated to produce some of the finest athletes and performers in history, and 27 athletes have already taken part in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, and 11 walked away with medals. Also 19 of our trained performers have performed in some of the West end’s leading shows.
Number of Students = 815
Curriculum = Sports and Performing Arts

Improvements and Decisions
Hi, since my last media lesson I have changed my background to a purple smoke one to add colour, and have added a picture of a purple rose. I am still writing the plan for my school magazine, but I have decided that it'll be a sports and performing arts mixed school up in London!
